“Assemblage Best Seen” in Best of the Net

The 2014 Best of the Net Anthology from Sundress Publications went live today. I’m thrilled that my poem “Assemblage Best Seen” was selected by Kathy Fagan to be included. Enormous thanks to Mark Cugini and Big Lucks for publishing this poem in the first place and nominating it for the Best of the Net Anthology, and to the readers, judges, and editors at Sundress. You can read the whole anthology here.

Things I’ve read lately and am currently reading include: Sarah Gerard’s Binary Star, Sarah Jean Alexander’s Wild Lives, some poems from Roethke’s Collected (maybe it will bring the spring for good? and death. and roots. and earth-stuff), and Jenny Offill’s Dept of Speculation (whose structure and logic make me think of Renata Adler’s Speedboat, which I kind of now want to re-read, which I kind of always want to be reading and re-reading.)
